Rubber Flooring Adhesive

GreenFusion™ Urethane Adhesive

Bostik GreenFusion™ is a solvent-free¹, single-component, trowel-applied, moisture-cured urethane adhesive specifically formulated for the installation of rubber flooring. Bostik GreenFusion is a 0-VOC formulation as calculated by SCAQMD Rule 1168. Once cured, this adhesive is not adversely affected by exposure to moisture or water; its superior properties provide a tenacious bond to a variety of surfaces either indoors or outdoors. GreenFusion has been formulated to exhibit a unique combination of application properties including excellent trowelability, fast tack/grab, low odor and easy cleanup.

GreenFusion can be used to adhere most rubber flooring, tile, stair treads, and nosing. GreenFusion can be used over all properly-prepared substrates common to rubber flooring installations, including concrete, asphalt, plywood, cementitious-based patch/underlayments and terrazzo.

This product contains BLOCKADE® antimicrobial protection, which inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold, or mildew on the surface of the dried adhesive; the dried adhesive resists stains caused by mold.

¹ This product is not formulated with any added solvents. Upon cure, the product produces a small amount of methanol.

Moisture Vapor Barrier Coatings

D-250 Moisture Vapor Barrier Coating

A high-performance, rapid-drying, water-based, penetrating epoxy formulated to dramatically reduce moisture vapor transmission  and surface alkalinity from substrates including "freshly-poured" concrete, cement backer board, radiant heat flooring, and cement-based terrazzo prior to the installation of engineered or solid hardwood, carpet; vinyl/VCT, rubber; porcelain, marble, granite or ceramic tile floor covering. Bostik EMC is a low-odor, non-flammable, two-component system.

Extreme Primer

Durabond® Extreme Primer™ is a single-component, water-based primer formulated to dramatically improve the adhesion of Durabond cement patches and self-leveling underlayments to Durabond D-261™ Extreme Moisture Vapor Barrier Coating or Durabond D-250™ Moisture Vapor Barrier Coating.

D-261 Extreme Moisture Vapor Barrier Coating

D-261™ Extreme Moisture Vapor Barrier Coating is a two-component, high performance, rapid drying, epoxy formulated to dramatically reduce moisture vapor transmission and surface alkalinity from substrates including; “freshly-poured/green concrete”, properly prepared concrete, cement backer board, cement patch/underlayments, radiant heat flooring, and cement-based terrazzo prior to the installation of carpet; vinyl/VCT; engineered or solid hardwood; porcelain, marble, granite, or ceramic tile floor covering. D-261 contains Bostik’s Blockade™ antimicrobial protection and utilizes a breakthrough, silver-based, antimicrobial agent that provides built in protection to inhibit the growth of a broad range of odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the surface of the coating’s film. D-261 is uniquely formulated so that it may be applied to fresh “green” concrete as soon as it has achieved “initial set” (when the concrete can be walked on without disturbing the surface). It is pigmented light green for visual indication of coverage and film thickness during the installation process. It is extremely durable and wear resistant.

When properly installed, D-261 is designed to reduce the moisture vapor emission rate of even the most challenging concrete slabs from < 25 pounds per 1,000 ft2 per 24 hours to < 3 lbs. per 1,000 ft2 per 24 hours (per ASTM 1869). This non-flammable, non corrosive, low odor, non-blushing formulation requires no solvent wiping, and has no application window in which floor covering adhesives must be applied to achieve a strong bond. D-261 is formulated to be effective in reducing the surface alkalinity of concrete slabs to pH levels of 9 or lower as recommended by the Carpet and Rug Institute and the Canadian Carpet Institute, making them ideal for bonding with most adhesives.
